People come to therapy for many reasons, you may be going through a bad time in your life, need some extra help and support in dealing with an issue or unwanted behaviour, or have emotional problems that you just can’t sort out on your own. Sometimes it’s easier to talk to a stranger, that won’t judge, will support you and has your best interests at heart than friends or relatives. I believe people have all the resources they need, but, potentially lack the skills in accessing these resources. The work that we do together will help you to access your own internal resources and enable you to better deal with life’s challenges and concerns.

When people have a physical pain they naturally seek out medical help, if you have a musculoskeletal problem its a wise  move to get it checked out by a physiotherapist or a chiropractor, yet when people have a problem with their mind or have become stuck in unwanted  patterns of behaviour it can take quite some time and discomfort until they seek out the help from a mental health professional.

For some every day is like a battle, for others a daily grind, a slog, a treadmill, a rat race, for others its just a question of keeping your head down and just getting on with it and getting through it…..whilst for some others life is a magical journey each day a gift and each moment precious.

We are creatures of habit and emotion as such we can unconsciously carry around negative feelings and thoughts about ourselves, caused by unresolved pain, childhood issues, traumas or resentments, which can be the cause of much sadness, anger or confusion. Until we learn new ways of thinking or feeling we may find ourselves constantly reacting to events in life exactly  the opposite way of how we want to.

If you want to change, to think and behave more confidently, to experience more happiness and contentment on your through life, learn how to manage your stress, anxiety and overcome feelings of fear, the good news is…there are solutions!

By taking responsibility for your own health and wellbeing you take one step closer to a new you where you feel empowered and on a positive path to growth and well-being.

As a Mindfulness Based Hypnotherapist and Mindfulness based Cognitive Behavioural therapist, I work with you interactively using the information gathered during the sessions the issues and concerns raised with a combination of therapies to help remove limiting beliefs and perceptions helping you to uncover your true potential and enable you to lead a life that is worth celebrating.

While we can’t change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life.

Therapy sessions will give you the insights, tools and techniques, to unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

If you’re looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you’re just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.

If your lacking direction, not sure which is the right path for you, or perhaps your unsure of the next step to take, Mindfulness Based Hypnotherapy maybe not be a magic wand, but, it can give you the insights  and tools needed to help you to discover the path that is right for you.

The first step is recognising that their is a problem, the second step is then contemplating the benefits to you of therapy or coaching and then the final step on your journey to finding answers and a resolution to your problems is to take action.
